It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurette M. Demers of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Norman Lacombe and Wilfred Demers; her close friend James Soares; her parents, Oliva and Regina (Blanchette); and her stepparent Rosellen Raymond (Blanchette).
She is survived by: her children, Andre Lacombe of Westport, Edmond Lacombe of Fairhaven, Stephen Lacombe of Fairhaven, Suzanne Lacombe of Fall River, Pauline Levesque of Chicago, Christine Burke of Fall River and Norma Perreira of Taunton; and her siblings, Jean Guy, Georgette, Suzette, Angele, Giselle, Louise and Diane. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren.
