He is survived by: his wife Maria Eduarda Pereira (Almeida) of Anne's Hospital; his children, Kathy Pereira (Scott) of Fall River and Kevin Pereira (Amalia) of Fall River; his granddaughters, Layla and Nora Silva; and his siblings, Jose Antonio Pereira (Margarida) of Capelas, Eduardo Pereira (Rita) of Capelas, Luis Pereira (Alda) of Canada, Antero Pereira (late Rita) of Capelas, Joao Pereira (Ana Paula) of Capelas, Valter Pereira (Carla) of Capelas and Mario Jorge Pereira (Susana) of London, England. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
