It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonor Tavares (Fall River, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joao Tavares; and her parents, Adeline Diogo and Maria Diogo (Viveiros). She is survived by: her children, Mary Pavao (Antone) of Swansea, John M. Tavares (Michelle) and Dolores Albernaz (Alfredo) of Fall River; her sister Bertha Medeiros; her grandchildren, Jason, Joshua Pavao, Cheri Levesque, Tiffany Zawerucka and Matthew Albernaz; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Cole, Anakin, Gwenyth and Cecilia. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
