She is survived by: her children, Maria Sousa of Fall River, Madalena Medeiros of Fall River, Joe Sousa of St. Michael, Azores and David Sousa of Lisbon, Portugal; and her siblings, Maria Melo of Fall River and Jacinto Freitas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
