She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Garcia and Maria Jose Garcia (Furtado). She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Marie Farias (Dennis) of Fall River; her grandchildren, Quinlan Aiden Farias and Kendall Lillith Farias; and her siblings, Mary Oliveira (Dennis) of Florida, Louis Garcia of Fall River, Antonio Garcia of Fall River, Beatriz Smaldone (Michael) of Dartmouth and Edward Garcia (Filomena) of South Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
