Lorraine touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Lorraine’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Paradise; her parents, John Arruda and Idalina Arruda (Costa); and her son Steven Paradise. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Cosetta (Bob); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Cosetta and Kimberly Sobreiro; and her great grandchildren, Cameron and Alex Sobreiro.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Oliveira Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service - Columbia (215 Columbia St, Fall River, MA 02721). A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of Saint Mary the Assumption (327 Second St, Fall River, MA 02721).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Lorraine's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
