He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao Correia and Ilda Maria Correia (Furtado); and his brother Arthur Correia. He is survived by: his pets, Pebbles and Lexi; his children, Clara M. Cordeiro (Jaime M. Cordeiro) of Dartmouth and Robert Correia (Lisa M. Correia) of Fall River; his siblings, Ilda Melo of Fall River, Maria Jose Ricardo of Fall River, Joao Correia of Fall River and Hermenegildo Correia of Canada; his grandchildren, Daniel Cordeiro, Sherie L. Alves, Justin Cordeiro, Matthew Cordeiro, Iesha L. Correia, Kyron Correia and Robert Correia, Jr.; and his siblings, Leopoldina Cordeiro, Fernando Correia and Aida Botelho. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
