We are sad to announce that, on October 20, 2025, at the age of 85, Manuel F. Mello of Fall River, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Maria C. Mello (Pevide); his mother Maria Christina Melo (Mauricio); and his daughter Christine Marie Furtado. He is survived by: his father Jose Ferreira Melo; his son Richard F. Mello; his sisters, Maria Lourdes Barreto and Eduarda Lourenco; his granddaughter Ashley Nicole Furtado; his niece Paula Barreto; and his nephew Dennis Lourenco.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Santo Christo Church, or the National Cancer Institute.
