We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2025, at the age of 85, Manuel F. Mello of Fall River, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Maria C. Mello (Pevide); his mother Maria Christina Melo (Mauricio); and his daughter Christine Marie Furtado. He is survived by: his father Jose Ferreira Melo; his son Richard F. Mello; his sisters, Maria Lourdes Barreto and Eduarda Lourenco; his granddaughter Ashley Nicole Furtado; and his siblings' children, Paula Barreto and Dennis Lourenco.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Oliveira Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service - Columbia (215 Columbia St, Fall River, MA 02721). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Santo Christo Church (185 Canal St, Fall River, MA 02721).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Santo Christo Church, or the National Cancer Institute.
