He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco P. Martins and Maria Martins (Carreira); and his brother John P. Martins (Minerva). He is survived by: his wife Maria M. (Misturado); his children, Gorett Sousa (Richard) of Fall River, MA, Paulianne Teixeira (Alan) of Westport, MA, Jerry Martins of Florida, Bryan Martins (Brenda) of Adams, MA and Karyne Martins (Paul) of New Bedford, MA; and his sister Zenaida Sousa (Floriano) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
