He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Jacinto Penacho and Diolinda Penacho (Paiva); his son Martin Penacho; and his brothers, Jose B. Penacho and Carlos Penacho.
He is survived by: his wife Maria J. Penacho (Narciso); his siblings, Fatima Cidadao of Toronto, John Penacho, Antonio Penacho and Manuela Lopes of St. Michael, Azores; and his son Jeffrey Penacho. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
