He is survived by: his spouse Altina Silva; his daughter Deolinda Silva; his son-in-law Steven Arruda; his sibling's children, Tina Inacio and John Inacio; and his great-nephews, Sebastian Inacio and Xavier Inacio.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in Manuel's name to Southcoast Hospice, 200 Mill Road, Fairhaven, MA 02719.
