She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gomes and Elizabeth Gomes; her daughter Sandra Andrade; and her siblings, Leroy Gomes, James Gomes, William Gomes, Daniel Gomes, Joseph Gomes, Vasco Gomes, Robert Gomes, Lena Barros and Windi Pires.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Weston of New Bedford, Susan M. Royal of Fall River, Catherine Desrosiers of Taunton and Candace Charpentier of Barrington; and her stepdaughter Josephine Pina. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
