It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Rosa Braga of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 26, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Rosa Braga to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Marques and Maria Marques (Cabral); and her brothers, Luis Marques and Manuel Marques. She is survived by: her husband Jose D. Braga; her daughters, Sonya Braga (Brandon Medeiros) of Raynham, Mandy Mack (Eric) of Fall River and Sandy Rimmer (Thomas) of Swansea; her siblings, Veneranda Moniz of Arizona and Antonio Marques of Fall River; and her grandchildren, Rhodes, Nohle, Reide and Ezra. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720).
