She was predeceased by: her husband Herminio P. Duarte; her parents, Manuel Branco and Mariana Branco (Bandeira); her daughter Tina Silva; and her brothers, Manuel and Jose Branco.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Marques (Manny DeSilva) of Fall River, Maria Rego of Fall River and Herminio "Eddie" Duarte (Sherry) of Fall River; her siblings, Leontina Miguel of Fall River and Lucilia DaSilva of Canada; and her grandchildren, Shawn, Nadia, Jason, Robert, Bobby and Bryanna. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
