She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Da Costa; her parents, Mariano Borges and Maria Dos Anjos Borges (Vieira); her children, Ana, Carlos, John, Walter and Fernando; and her siblings, Anjos, Ojene, Manuel, Jose, Jeremias and Tony.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Da Costa, Jeremy Da Costa, Maria McGovern, Luis Costa, Helena Sousa, Michael Costa and Raymond Costa. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oliveira Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service - South Main (2064 S Main St, Fall River, MA 02724). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Espirito Santo Church (311 Alden St, Fall River, MA 02723).
