She was predeceased by: her spouse Joaquim R. Franca; her parents, Jose Valente and Rosa Estrela (Ferreira); and her sibling Madalena Estrela. She is survived by: her children, Jose Franca, Armindo Franca, Victor Franca, Rosa Caetano, Manuel Franca and Antonio Franca; and her siblings, Julia Matos of Portugal, Manuel Joaquim Estrela of Portugal and Jose Estrela of Brazil. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
