She is survived by: her children, Diamantina Botelho (late Silvino) of Fall River, Amelia Furtado (late Manuel) of Fall River, Mary Lou Afonso of Somerset, Belmiro Afonso, Jr. (Ana) of Fall River, Fernando Afonso (Theresa) of Bristol, Roberto Afonso (Carrie) of Fall River and Jose Afonso (Mary Jane) of North Dartmouth; and her siblings, Germina Pacheco (late Manuel) of Fall River and Fernando Pereira. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
