She was predeceased by: her spouse Armindo C. Correia; her parents, Antonio Furtado Linhares and Maria Leopoldina Linhares (Carreiro); her son Luis Rego; her great grandchild Maddox Almeida; and her brother Luis Linhares.
She is survived by: her children, Jose Rego (Zelia) of Westport, Armindo Rego (Angie) of Fall River, Ana Hilario (Frank) of Westport and Maria Soares (Ronald) of Berkley; her daughter-in-law Maria Rego (late Luis); her grandchildren, Tanya, Kevin, Bryan, Amanda, Nancy, Brittany, Shawn, Kristen, Megan, Jenna and Shana; and her siblings, Rosario Espinhosa (late Espinhosa) and Daniel Linhares (Connie) of Fall River. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
