In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Maria's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Maria's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her husband Luis Pereira; her parents, Manuel Mello and Mary Conceicao Mello (Sousa); and her siblings, Manuel S. Mello, Robert Mello, Rose Luz and Joseph R. Mello.
She is survived by: her children, Susan M. Oliveira (Carlos) of Fall River and Louis E. Pereira (JoAnn) of Freetown; and her grandchildren, Bryant M. Oliveira (Megan) and Ashley Pereira (Jared). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720).
