She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph C. Arruda; her brother Mario Camara; and her parents, Manuel Gregory Mateus Camara and Maria Conceição Mateus. She is survived by: her children, Joseph M. Arruda (Rhonda), Paul Arruda (Cynthia), Tony Arruda (Shelly) and Susan Cardelli (James Maxwell); her grandchildren, Monica Arruda, Brittany Domingues (Eric), Linsey Continho (Brandon), Samantha Arruda, Tyler Arruda, Lexus Arruda and Cory Cardelli; her great grandchildren, DeShawn, Nevaeh, Christian, Adalena, Eleanor and Legend; and her brother John Camara (Nancy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
