She was predeceased by: her husband Robert M. Hargraves; and her siblings, Loretta McMurray, Barbara Shea, Patricia Barrar, Bernard McDonald, Nancy Jane Farrissey, Susan Coombes and J. Barry McDonald.
She is survived by: her friend Beach; her children, Robert M. Hargraves Jr. (Holly) of Mattapoisett, Nancy Jane Hargraves of Fall River, Jennifer Elias (Karl) of Fairfield, CT. and Michael M. Hargraves (Lisa) of Fall River; her grandchildren, George Elias, Colin, Julia, Madeline Hargraves, Brady Hargraves, Devon Sutton, Jack, Beatrice Ashley and Valentina Fontanez; and her brother William McDonald of Fall River. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Church (709 Hanover St, Fall River, MA 02720). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Durfee Hilltopper Athletic Foundation, 687 Harvard St., Fall River, MA 02720 or the Boys and Girls Club of Fall River, 803 Bedford St., Fall River, MA 02723.
