He was predeceased by: his parents, James E Shaughnessy and Mary Shaughnessy (Corcoran). He is survived by: his son Patrick M. Shaughnessy of New Bedford; and his brothers, William Shaughnessy of New Bedford and James Shaughnessy of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
