He is survived by: his wife Josephine Dumont; his children, Norman Dumont (Arlene Benevides Dumont), Michelle Peixoto (Joseph Peixoto) and Gene Dumont (Joanna Frank Dumont); his grandchildren, Kayla, Nicolas, Remy, Jacqueline, Kolby and Dylan; and his sisters, Cheryl Raposa (Merc) and Denise Fernandes (Joe). He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, fellow union brothers.
