He is survived by : his parents, Manuel DaCosta and Maria Isabel Costa (Almeida); his daughter Brittany Costa; and his siblings, Joao, Nelia Costa (Miguel Medeiros), Maria Manuela Costa (Gil), Conceição Costa (Mo Halabi) and Ana Carmo (Valdemar Carmo). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
