She was predeceased by: her husband Joao Gomes Goncalves; her father Jose Martins; and her siblings, Manuel Alves, Ermelinda Francisco, Aida Silva, Jose Martins Costa, Antonio Martins Costa, Idalina Martins and João Martins Alves.
She is survived by: her son John M. Gonsalves (Luisa); her sister Natalie Goncalves; her grandsons, Adrian Gonsalves (Jessica) and Sean Gonsalves (Erica); and her great grandchildren, Lyla, Ayden and Eliana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
