He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzear Rioux and Gerogiana Rioux. He is survived by: his wife Susan Rioux; his sons, Shawn K. Rioux (Dalia) of Fall River and Jeremy Rioux (Michelle) of Fall River; his siblings, Thomas Rioux, Shirley Rioux, Carolyn Laflamme, Jeanne Medeiros and Joan Sylvia; his grandchildren, Andrew Rioux, Ryan Rioux and Kelly Batista; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Batista, Mason Batista, Aiden Batista and Abigail Batista; and his mother-in-law Rita Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
