He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sevigny and Blanche Sevigny (Lafleur); and his brother Robert Sevigny. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Sevigny (Kenyon); his sons, Ronald Sevigny, Jr. (Mena Franco), Scott Sevigny and Robert Sevigny; his grandchildren, Tayla M. Sevigny, Carly A. Sevigny and Aidan Sevigny; his friend Stanley "Pete" Indyck; and his pet Cloud. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
