He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmundo and Santos Arruda (Amaral); and his child Cidalia C. Costa. He is survived by: his daughter Maria De Lurdes Arruda (Fernando) of Freetown; his wife Margarida Arruda (Carvalho); his children, Tony Arruda (Darlene) of Rehoboth, John Arruda (Lucilia), Dee Pereira (John) of Westport, Margarida Paula Ninatoski (Nicholas) and Serafim Arruda (Maria Gabriella); and his sister Maria. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
