He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia A. Carreiro; and his parents, Mary Thomas (Thomas) and Manuel Carreiro. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen M. Fowler (David) of Cocoa Beach, Steven T. Carreiro (Jennifer Bryant) of Plympton, Christopher J. Carreiro (Elizabeth Branconnier) of Dartmouth and Paula Mailloux (John) of Westport; his grandchildren, Jason Carreiro (Jamie Lacroix), Rachael Manasco (David), Brittany Alfaro (Justin Nyman), Mason Carreiro and Nicholas Bryant; his great grandchild Jacob Carreiro; and his cousins, Joan Thomas and Paul Thomas.
Per Tom's wishes his body was donated to Harvard Medical School Anatomical Gift Program. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude.
