He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Soares and Helen Soares (Silvia). He is survived by: his wife Diane Soares (Potvin); his daughter Corylyn Potvin (Soares); his grandson Auron Johnson; and his sister Paula Soares. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and in lieu of flowers, donations are being requested for the Fall River Scholarship Foundation, PO Box 1721, Fall River, MA 02722 or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
