It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ventura P. Teixeira of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 2, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Cecilia P. Teixeira (Medeiros); his parents, Manuel Raposo Teixeira and Maria Pimentel Teixeira; and his sister Maria Simao (Dora). He is survived by: his sons, Helder Teixeira of Fall River, John Teixeira of Fall River and Pedro Teixeira (Kimberlee Trudeau) of Needham; his grandson Henry Trudeau Teixeira; and his siblings, Joao Pimentel Teixeira (Joao Raposo) of Ponta Delgada, Soa Miguel, Acores, Manuel Pimentel (Manuel Raposo), Irene Raposo Torres and Isabel Raposo Carreiro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
