She was predeceased by : her close friend Milton Clement; her parents, Ernest W. Dutilly and Berthe C. Dutilly (Beauchesne); and also Stephen J. Carroll. She is survived by : her son Nathan B. Carroll of Fall River; her sister Paulette Jameson (Stephen) of Newington, CT; her nieces, Emily DeFrances (Pete) and Rebecca Colton (Ken); and also, Ginny, Faith DeFrances, Brynn and Hadley Colton.

She turned heads when she entered a room with the contrast of her golden blonde hair against the perpetual tan that she maintained religiously. She had flare! Her style was flowing, colorful clothes with a plethora of well-appointed costume jewelry. She wrote the most gracious thank you notes and poignant poems.
