He was predeceased by: his wives, Eleanor "June" Compton and Dorothy Compton (Elliot) of Anne's Hospital; his parents, Walter David Compton and Lucy Compton (Ghee); and his siblings, Walter, Blanch and Marian.
He is survived by: his sons, David and Ronald. He is also survived by extended family and his many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the same location.
