He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Rego (Raposa); and his parents, Manuel R. Rego and Mary Rego (Medeiros). He is survived by: his children, William Rego, Jr. of Tiverton, RI, Tammy Stewart of Swansea, Brenda Larue of Georgia and Jo-ann McDermott of Fall River. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
