He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Almeida (West); his parents, Manuel Almeida and Alice Estes (Oliveira); and his son William Almeida, Jr.. He is survived by: his stepfather Robert Estes of Florida; his children, Christine McCarthy of Fall River and Stephen Sylvia of Arizona; his sister Phillis Boutin of Swansea; and his son Kevin Sylvia.
