She was predeceased by: her husband David L. Cary; her parents, William Gilbane and Catherine Gilbane; and her sister MaryLou Carolan. She is survived by: her children, David Cary (Kate) of Falmouth, Catherine Bannan (Kevin) of Hingham and William Cary (Lisa) of North Easton; her grandchildren, Cary, Tommy, Colin, Marykate, Brendan, Patrick, Madison and John; her great grandchildren, Nora, Kit, Lily, Will and Charlie; and her siblings, Jane Petzold, Ginny Mahoney, Bill Gilbane and Helen Macdonald. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - West Falmouth (584 W Falmouth Hwy, West Falmouth, MA 02574). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (511 Main St, Falmouth, MA 02540). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (167 E Falmouth Hwy, East Falmouth, MA 02536).
