He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Ugaglia; his children, Martha Mahoney (Gregory Nastu), Patricia Moran, Timothy (Mary Ellen Mahoney), Matthew (Tatiana Mahoney) and Peter Mahoney (Erin Jackson); and his grandchildren, Billy Moran and Chelsey Quinlan, Melissa Moran, Sage Moran, Caitlin Mahoney and Alex Korst, Elliott Mahoney, Aidan Mahoney, Li Mahoney, Patrick Mahoney, Matteo Mahoney, Jeremy Mahoney, Lucas Mahoney and Cora Mahoney.
