We announce the death of John Morey of Falmouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 19, 2026. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Genevieve Morey (Lyons); his parents, Joseph Morey and Mildred Morey (Nordstrom) of East Bridgewater; and his siblings, Joseph Morey, Raymond Morey, Richard Morey, Robert Morey, Mildred Wilkinson, Merna Dion, Marlene Pollard and Carol Yannone.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Morey (Siobhan) of Mashpee, Ann Arpin (Kenny) of Lakeville, Marie Whalen (Michael) of Raynham and Lynne Morey of Falmouth; and his brother Wayne Morey (Marla) of Hamilton, Ohio.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral Home (70 Washington St, Taunton, MA 02780). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at the St. Francis Cemetery (24 Glebe St, Taunton, MA 02780).
