He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Hastings and Vivian Hastings (Hastings); his former wife Barbara Hastings (Ruckstuhl); and his siblings, Benjamin, William, Lyman, Charles, Warren, Harold, Jared, Philip, David, Robert, Orpha, Helen, Marion, Hazel and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Denault; his sons, Charles Hastings (Karen) of Maryland, Jeffrey Hastings (Nancy) of Feeding Hills and Arthur "Ed" Hastings, Jr. of Southwick; and his sister Vivian Hill of Wisconsin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, a great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
