It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly A. Maranda of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Wazal and Irene Wazal (Morin); her husband Joseph L. Maranda; her siblings, Wallace Wazal, Thomas Wazal, Robert Wazal and Barbara Carney (Wazal); and her cousin Marie Morin.

She is survived by : her daughters, Melissa Maranda (Richard Gosselin) of Fitchburg and Gail Peck of Newport, NH.; her sister Janice (Charles Prebble) of Hoosick Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Grace Gosselin (H. S.) of Fitchburg, Amanda Peck, Ethan Peck and Caitlin Taifehesmatian (Peck); and her friends, Carol Remse and Pauline Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Maranda-Gosselin Charitable Fund c/o The Community Foundation of NCM, 649 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg, MA 01420. Donations will go to Benefit the many charities near and dear to Beverly.
