She was predeceased by: her parents, Frieda Hertel (Frey) and Harry Hertel; her former husband Allan A. Sundberg Sr.; her spouse Aurele Richard; her brothers, Harry A. Hertel and W. Norman Hertel; her son-in-law Timothy Thayer; her grandson Thomas Thayer; her great grandchild Wyatt Myers; her stepdaughter Marie Adamson; and her stepson-in-law Paul Bastarache.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Gorham (Charles), Allan Sundberg Jr. (Mary), Bonnie Thayer and Donna Britt (Paul); her grandsons, Charlie Myers (Krystina), Jonathan Sundberg, Christopher Sundberg (Sara) and Nicholas Thayer (April); her stepchildren, Raymond Richard, Donald Richard (Susan) and Linda Tanso (Mike); and her friend Ruth Black. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (147 Hillside Terrace, Athol, MA 01331).
