With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claire Bragg Jacques (Fitchburg, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Hubert S Bragg; her daughter Patricia Bragg; her husband Albert F Jacques; her siblings, George R Wonkka Sr. and Anita Aura; her pet Teddy; and her parents, George E Wonkka and Claire Langlois.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Bragg (Patty) of Ashburnham, Michael Bragg (Mindy) of Fitchburg, Debra Cutter (John) of Willlimantic, CT and Cynthia Grealis (Joseph) of Clinton; and her stepdaughters, Patricia Burkhart (Roy) of Arlington, TX and Linda Buckley (Robert) of Fitchburg. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Cemetery (96 Goodrich St, Fitchburg, MA 01420).
