He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry J. and Margaret H. Godek (Wells); his son David Godek of Fitchburg; his brother John; his sister-in-law Norma Godek of Fitchburg; and his sister Claudia Godek of North Carolina.

Dennis' death is so very sad because it was preventable simply by him getting a COVID 19 vaccine.

“Dennis was a man full of energy, strong convictions and a generous heart. We knew him for just 3 years but in that time, we grew to love him. It was rare he came to our house empty handed. My son is studying business; Dennis gave him business books that he helped him when he was younger. Dennis insisted I try different sprout mixes he grew and take zinc to strengthen my immune system. We disagreed on many things, but connected as good people. Please accept our condolences for your loss.”
