With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane M. Fontaine (Fitchburg, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 23, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Diane's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Diane has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Girouard and Eleanor "Ellie" Girouard (Lunetta). She is survived by: her husband Paul Fontaine Sr.; her children, Nicole Daly (Jeremy) of Sterling and Paul Fontaine Jr. (Sara) of Fitchburg; her brother Thomas Girouard Sr. (Jean) of Fitchburg; and her grandchildren, Ellie, Julia Daly, Helena and Gabriel Fontaine.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brandon Funeral Home (305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420).
