It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M. Vaillancourt of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fidele Leger and Sarah Leger (Veautour); her spouse Herbey J. Vaillancourt; her son Gary Vaillancourt; her grandson Joshua Vaillancourt; and her children-in-law, Leslie Vaillancourt, Calixte Legendre and Kenneth Desjean.

She is survived by : her children, Patricia Legendre of Fitchburg, Gail Rousseau (David) of Fitchburg, Janice Desjean of Fitchburg, Janet Doughty (Randy) of Fitchburg, Susan Horne (David) of Mattapoisett, Denise Curran (John) of South Dennis, Paula Ouellette and Paul Vaillancourt (Sandra Taralli) of Fitchburg; and her sister-in-law Connie Roux of Leominster. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
