We announce the death of Dorothy Casker of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 30, 2020, at the age of 91. Dorothy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick E. Leeds and Laura Leeds (Congleton); her husband James; and her siblings, Eileen Stacey, Frederick Leeds Jr., Norma Leeds, Helen Pierce, Ruth Leeds, Kenneth Leeds and Gordon Leeds.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas and Steven; her family, Laura Casker (Douglas) of Gardner, MA, Donald, Elva Sue Casker (Hunt) of Browns Mills, NJ, Deborah Mattson (Gary) of Mauldin, SC, Lynn Casker Bartlett of Laconia, NH, Kevin, Wendy Casker (McAfee) of Westminster, MD and Karen Casker of Fitchburg, MA.; her child Grammie; her grandchildren, Nathan Mattson, Bethany Early, Stephen Mattson, Dustin Branin, Courtney Standley, Ian Casker and Jocelyn Casker; her great grandchildren, Gage, Gianna Branin, Natalie, Ethan, Jonathan Mattson, Brooke, James Early and Colter Standley; and her sister Sylvia Clifford of Presque Isle, Michigan..
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be sent to Highland Baptist Church, 19 Cedar Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420, A Memorial Service will be held at Highland Baptist Church in the spring.
