She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio B. Malderella and Mary Maldarell (Gordon); her son John V. Hanks Jr. of Ft Lauderdale; and her siblings, Gensie Parker, Nicoletta Condon, Shirley Gillette, Daniel Maldarella and John Maldarella (Jack).
She is survived by: her children, Marie K LaPointe of Zebulon, NC and Michael Hanks of Barre, MA.; her grandsons, Alexander Hanks, James Hanks and Christopher Hanks; her brother Antonio Maldarella of Lander; and her husband Dr Harold Sparling. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
