She was predeceased by: her parents, Staten Brimage and Hattie Brimage; her husband Richard Parmenter; her son James Berkely Wright; and her siblings, Micah, Willie, Elmer Staten, David and Irene Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Evalina Wright, Carl Wright, Jr. (Constance) and Anita Wright; and her siblings, Floyd Brimage (Erma), Gloria Cribbs (Billy), Eva Brimage, Omega Brimage (Pam), Brenda Salomon, Estelle Brimage, Samuel Brimage, Deborah Brimage-Williams (Eddie) and Sherrod Brimage (Anita). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
