He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Yvonne; his former wife Dorothy Richard (Heeley); his son-in-law Douglas A. Swett; and his sisters, Evelyn Doucette, Pauline Fusco, Rita Provencher, Lucille Reilly and Louise Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Forrestine Brissette Richard (Morris); his children, Carol Ciccolini (John), Thomas Richard (Rhonda), Michael Richard (Susan), Susan Leger (Raymond) and Patricia Swett; his siblings, Phillip Richard and Yvette Damien; and his great grandchild Pèpére. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
