We bid farewell to Joseph J. Gallant of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 23, 2025 at the age of 88. Joseph J. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Gallant and Delia Marie Gallant (Bourque); his wife Eileen E. Gallant (Leger); his son Steven P. Gallant; and his siblings, Anita Pothier of Leominster, Edward Gallant of New Brunswick, Corrinne Dollard of New Brunswick and Geneva LeBlanc of New Brunswick.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Gallant (Sarah) of Townsend, Karen M. Gallant of Ware and Kathleen G. Goss (Jason) of Fitchburg; his daughter-in-law Lyn Gallant of Georgia; his brother William; his sister-in-law Gayle Gallant of New Brunswick, Canada.; his grandchildren, Kerrie, Holly, Christopher, Erin, Brian, Kevin, Eric, Thomas, Eva, Macey, Tayvian, Ryan, Zachary, Andrea, Noel, Alisha, Jaimee, Michael and Shelby; and his great grandchildren, Krista, Marcel, Nari, Owen, Logan, Isaiah, Dominic, Maverick, Shaylene, Ace, Javiel, Ruairi and Ella. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, wonderful neighbors.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (46 Woodland St, Fitchburg, MA 01420).
